What if the media owner specs I need aren’t on The Spec Sheet?
If the specs you need aren’t on the platform, send us a message via the Intercom chat on your screen. We’ll contact that media owner directly to validate and upload their specs so they’re ready for your next campaign.
If you can share the media owner’s name and your rep’s details, our team will chase it up. Yes, we have a whole team dedicated to doing just that.

Collaborating with teams
Who can I share The Spec Sheet with?
You can collaborate with anyone on your internal media team who’s set up as a member under your account.
Whether you’re working with multiple departments or teams (eg. online and offline), they can all access and edit and build the same campaigns as you.
Once your Spec Sheet is ready, you can invite clients and creative partners as collaborators. They’ll see the latest version, receive variation updates, and collaborate with you based on their assigned permissions.
Access
Who can see the specs sheets I create?
Only the people you choose to share with. No one else can access your Spec Sheets unless they have been personally invited.
Who has access to my The Spec Sheet account?
Media agency members control user permissions within your account, ensuring collaborators only edit what’s relevant to their teams. You can set each person’s role as a viewer, editor, or full access user.
Permissions can be refined at the column level within campaigns, giving you greater control over who can make changes.
Operations & Finance teams
How will my account be set up?
When a new agency comes onboard, The Spec Sheet team will invite the media team first.
Simply click the invite link in your email to create your account. From there, we’ll guide you through setup and training, including how to invite your creative and client collaborators.
How will billing work?
Depending on your plan, invoices are sent to your finance team either monthly or annually.
How will finance know which Spec Sheets belong to which clients?
Each Spec Sheet includes campaign identifiers such as brand, campaign name, and Job ID.
These details also appear on invoices, helping finance teams easily reconcile jobs.
Onboarding
What’s involved in onboarding?
Getting started is simple. We’ll guide you to make sure your clients, teams, and users are set up correctly. If your organisation uses central directories or single sign-on tools like Okta, we’ll work with your IT team to connect these to The Spec Sheet.
What kind of training will you provide?
The Spec Sheet is intuitive to use, but we’ll still walk you through the features in a live demo.
We also run regular training sessions for new team members and provide dedicated sessions for creative and client teams as they join your campaigns.
Customer Support
What kind of account management and support do you provide?
All users can access our friendly TSS Live Chat directly from the platform for real-time support. Agencies on a Platinum plan also receive a dedicated Customer Success Manager to help with detailed onboarding, training, and ongoing workflow support.
